Dr. Christine Johnson, PsyD, LP

Dr. Christine Johnson is a Mental Health Professional, Clinical Director and Senior Vice President at TSA.  She is a Licensed Psychologist having received her Doctoral Degree in clinical psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology.  She also holds a Masters Degree in clinical psychology.  Dr. Johnson received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Montana State University - Billings.  

Prior to her work at TSA, Dr. Johnson worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families at a community mental health agency providing both psychological evaluations, general assessments, and psychotherapy.  Dr. Johnson has experience providing services in inpatient, outpatient, and correctional facilities and has completed forensic/court-ordered evaluations. She has experience with completing pre-surgical psychological screenings as part of the medical evaluation process to determine appropriateness for certain medical procedures.  In addition to providing clinical supervision to providers at TSA, Dr. Johnson provides clinical supervision to county case managers to ensure the appropriateness of assessment and the mental health provision of services to individual clients, both for child and adult populations.  She has provided consultation to county social services in regards to placement issues and participated in juvenile pre-petition screenings at the county level.  She has also been involved in the screening process for adults who are the subject of civil commitment proceedings.  Dr. Johnson has been trained as a generalist with special interest in ADHD assessment and treatment, the treatment of trauma related disorders, and working with clients who present with severe and persistent mental illnesses.  She has been trained in the use of Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
