James T. Molberg, MA, LP

James (Jim) Molberg is a Mental Health Professional who received a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology Program at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. He also received a Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology (including 22 credits of supportive field courses in “Counseling and Assessing Children and Families”) from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Jim Molberg is a Licensed Psychologist.
Jim has been a psychologist at TSA since September 2000, providing individual and family psychotherapy for clients in the Outpatient Mental Health program and in the Adolescent and Child Treatment Program (Therapeutic Foster Care). He previously provided outpatient mental health services for seven years in the Twin Cities. Jim completed a student practicum for one year at the Crisis Intervention Center of the Hennepin County Medical Center and another practicum for one year at the University Counseling Service of the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. He has been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Permanency and completed the NTI National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training Initiative through C.A.S.E. Jim has an active caseload of clients including adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples.
