John Eskola, MA, LMFT

John Eskola is a Mental Health Professional who received a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Houston, University Park Campus. John is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Minnesota and an approved supervisor with both the MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy and the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.
Furthermore, John received a Masters in the IT field. Prior to working as an outpatient therapist and ARMHS supervisor at TSA, John worked for 11 years directing and/or providing clinical supervision in CTSS programs in Minnesota. Before that he worked in a variety of environments including community mental health centers, residential treatment centers, and a dual diagnosis adolescent inpatient environment. He has been in working in the field of mental health since 1991. John is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He was originally drawn to the field of mental health to work with couples and families, but along the way has discovered additional interests in working with clients struggling with severe and persistent mental illness as well as with children and adolescents.
