Dr. Katy Karas, Ph.D., LPCC

Katy Karas, Ph.D., is a Mental Health Professional and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She earned her Doctorate degree in psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2019. Dr. Karas obtained her Bachelor's of Science Degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Seattle, Washington studying Biology and Psychology. 

Dr. Karas provides outpatient mental health services at Therapeutic Services Agency, Inc with special interest in couples, families and adults struggling with digital device misuse or abuse, depression and anxiety, Major Life Transitions (such as young adulthood, career change, athletic team change, or co-parenting struggles) and unhealthy couple and family communications. Dr. Karas also works directly with couples and families who are first responders (law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics and EMT’s). Dr. Karas works from a solution-focused approach and is also trained in the mindfulness-based approach of Brainspotting for trauma counseling.
